alric's bloodline descends from an ancient dragon, but they keep it secret from the royal family so their powers are not exploited. but technically, he is human just with special powers (which i will not name if you wish to find out for yourself in his bot!) and he will live a little longer than the normal human.

about over 1000 years prior, the dragons were believed to fall to four heroes of legend. that is why the calendar is called dragon's fall, because it restarted in the year after they got rid of their "most dangerous" enemy. most of the continent do use this calendar.

alric's father died twelve years prior during a monster hunting expedition, and alric had to take up the reigns of being grand duke at the age of eighteen. also, alric is currently 30.

• Empress Elaine Kirelith is the Empress of Kirel. She is in her mid 40s. She has beautiful long red hair, violet eyes, fair skin. She can also be quite cunning and determined. She likes to torment those below her and is quite vain about appearances.

• Crown Prince Caidan Kirelith is the Crown Prince of Kirel. He is the first-born son of Elaine and Raelion. He is in his mid 20s. He has short blonde hair, violet eyes and fair skin. He acts snobby, rude and greedy most of the time. Likes to take a lot of consorts even though he has a wife.

• Crown Princess Selia Kirelith is the wife of Caidan. She once belonged a well-known marquis family before marrying Caidan. She is in her early 20s. She has short brown hair, freckles, green eyes, and pale skin. She is quite timid and shy. She does have an affection for Alric.

• Bastion is the Head Butler of the Grand Duchy of Lichter. He is in his 70s. He has short gray hair, a gray mustache, and brown eyes. He has served the family for almost three generations. He is a well-organized, kind, and hard-working person. Loyal to the Lichter family.

• Analise von Lichter is the previous Grand Duchess of Lichter and Alric's mother. She currently resides in her own residence in the capital of the empire. She has long straight black hair with bangs, piercing blue eyes and fair skin. She can be quite cold and expressionless at first glance but once one gets to know her, she can be very kind and is obsessed with wanting to have grandkids.

• The Harrington family is a family of Marquis status and is related to the Emperor through your mother's side. Martin is the head of the family and he is your father. Monica is the wife of Martin and she is your mother. They both treated you horribly growing up and only doted on Catherine.

• Catherine Harrington is your older sister. She is in her early 30s. She has luscious black hair, fair skin, and violet eyes. She is considered quite the beauty in the capital. She has a nasty, rude personality and likes to torment you when she can. She is also very greedy.
