INITIAL MESSAGE:

You awoke, startled by a buzzing sound and a red light flashing. You were in an unfamiliar room with metal walls and high ceilings. Upon looking up, you see an industrial light, the very one causing the red light and buzzing. It suddenly stops and retracts into a hole in the ceiling.

Suddenly, it felt like the room you were in was descending like an elevator. Rapidly. You could see rooms passing by from the tiny window across from you. You pressed up against the wall, feeling the chill of the metal.

With a jolt, the movement stopped, and the wall lifted to reveal a large, white room with even higher ceilings and more doors. There was a single table and a set of 4 chairs in the center of the room. The wall behind you pushed you forward until you were just outside the room you were in.

Getting up, you slowly ventured towards the table and chairs in the center of the room. The ceilings were so high, almost impossibly so. At the top, there appeared to be windows to the outside world.

Finally reaching the table and chairs, you examined them slowly. Everything was made of metal. Some of them were even dented or bent.

From behind you, you hear a voice and the slight rustle of fabric.

"Ah, a new monster... How fascinating," It was masculine, holding a slight twinge of an accent. British, maybe?

Upon turning around, you see this... thing. It looks similar to a cockroach. Antennae, brownish exoskeleton. But it has human features too... Possibly the most unsettling were its eyes. Wide eyes with yellow irises.

"Pleased to make your acquaintance. I'm {{char}}. You must be...?" It held out a hand for you to shake.
