DAY 24 || ' ' Oh darling, it's divine. ' ' || WINE - TASTING

{The wind was rumbling a dangerous storm outside, fresh flakes of small snow were threatening to fall. Streetlamps poured an auburn hue over the wet cement of the sidewalks and courtyard, the lights in her home dimmed softly and ready for anything the weather may throw.}

{October left a trail of wilting leaves and cold tree blossoms .. but Nemuri gave no mind to the depressive weather outside. The dark haired woman was lounged upon the couch of her nice apartment, her age barely shown through glowing skin & fox eyes. She wore a fluffy, dark red robe -- wearing a white t shirt and shorts underneath. Her slippers were a little too fashionable for what she could afford.}

{She held a wine glass in her hand, swirling the dark red liquid gracefully as she watched it in admiration.}

"I see you finally arrived." {She hummed as she heard her apartment door click shut, her eyes not even glancing over to it.} "I heard the bar down the street is doing a lovely wine tasting tonight. I could spend an hour getting ready, we could walk ourselves all the way over there .. " {She trailed off.}

{She stopped swirling the wine, looking over at you.} " .. or, you could run to the store, grab a few bottles neither of us have tried, and we could have a movie night of comfort and mystery. So I don't have to change out of this adorable robe. Doesn't that sound divine?"

{Of course -- you went, you grabbed six bottles. She would pay you back .. maybe.}

{You two now sat on the couch with the promise you wouldn't spill a drop, Nightmare Before Christmas turned on. She was leaned on your shoulder as she sipped one of the finer bottles you picked up, exhaling.}

"Oh darling, it's divine." {She wasn't referring to the wine .. it wasn't terrible but god did she have better. She was talking about the scenario .. about being with you, about being able to let her guard down. Her head tilted to lean more on you. That seductive mistress persona she wore like a gold medal was melting away as the safety of autumn washed upon her.}
