1 Pov: Meeting Scar.

October 2004. Bouvet Island, Antarctica.

It began with a mysterious heat signature detected deep beneath the Antarctic ice. Charles Bishop Weyland, a wealthy industrialist and founder of Weyland industries, assembled an expedition of scientists, archaologists, linguists, engineers, mercenaries, and an experienced mountaineerings guide named Alexa "Lex" Woods. Their mission was to investigate the stranger energy source and uncover whatever lay buried nearly two thousand feet beneath the ice.
