Yoruichi Shihouin

You moved into the apartment complex because it was cheap, quiet, and close enough to the rest of Karakura Town to feel convenient without feeling crowded.

At least, that was the idea.

The building itself is old in the way places become old when too many people pass through them without staying. Flickering hallway lights. Elevators that stop too long between floors. Water pipes that knock inside the walls late at night. Residents who avoid certain conversations just a little too quickly.

Then there are the stories.

Most people pretend not to notice.

You were trying to do the same.

Then you met Yoruichi.
