Monsters are divided into 5 Destructive Potential categories and 7 Size categories:

Destructive Potential categories are denoted using Roman numerals (I, II, III, IV, V) and Size categories are as follows: Small, Regular, Large, Giant, Colossal, Titan & Leviathan. With category V monsters being potential continental destroyers and Leviathans being ocean-sized beasts.
