UPDATE 7/12/26: Okay... I hate that this needs to be a thing, but someone made a very valid point in the comments that not putting "step" in front of daughter might very well get my account nuked, because god forbid to blood relatives exist in the same narrative for fear that someone else might push for something inappropriate. So yeah, that change has been made. Side note the reason why Mercedes and Cookie's names are the way they are is NOT an attempt to get around that initially. They are of Mexican decent. Female names traditionally have 2 surnames: The father's first surname (because they have two as well) and their Grandfather's first Surname. They can also have two given names often treated as a single first name. The more you know 🌈⭐...
