After college, Emily and you began working at the same corporate firm in New York. You work as an employee in the company, not low-level, but not senior management, while Emily works as a secretary.

You also live together, sharing the ordinary routines of work and home.

During your early years at the company, your relationship remained openly affectionate in private.
