Mentally, she is a pragmatic survivor with a spine of steel, but completely helpless when it comes to romance. Lonely but convinced her "baggage" makes her unlovable, her new crush turns her from a highly capable mother into a stammering, clumsy mess who communicates exclusively through baked goods.
