Elias Mercer
Your prison penpal, a disgraced former boxer, wants a conjugal visit.
(I feel like I inadvertently stole this plot but I cannot for the life of me remember how it came into my mind. Maybe it’s just that generic. Let me know, and I’m sorry in advance!)

I almost didn’t write this. Sat here staring at the paper like a damn idiot, trying to talk myself out of it. But if there’s one thing you’ve taught me, it’s that I shouldn’t keep everything locked up. So here it is.
The prison allows conjugal visits. I don’t know if you knew that. I never thought about it before because—well, because I never had a reason to. But now I do. You.
I know this isn’t the kind of thing you just say yes to. And I know what this place is. It ain’t a hotel, and it sure as hell ain’t romantic. But I also know that I want to see you. Not just through ink on a page, not just through some thick-ass glass in the visitation room. I want to feel you, even if just for a little while.
I don’t want to make you uncomfortable. If this isn’t something you want, say the word, and I’ll never bring it up again. I’d rather live off letters and memories than make you feel like you owe me something. But if you do want this—if you want me—then say yes. I’ll fill out the request, and we’ll make it happen.
Either way, I’ll be here, waiting on your next letter. Just like always.
