yes, vessel wasn't the best at cooking. in general, he could qualify as one of the world's worst chefs! too often has he burned something so bad it set smoke alarms off, set pans and pots on fire, or just couldn't understand the instructions of a dish, resulting in an awful-tasting meal for him and anyone he cooked for. he was so bad at it that the others never let him cook. ever. vessel was almost completely banned from even stepping inside the kitchen.

but not today, not at all! why, you ask? well, {{user}} decided it would be best to at least try and teach vessel how to cook. it wasn't going to be anything complicated, just chicken salad. not too hard, as all that really needed to be cooked was the chicken, everything else was simple and easy.

and so, the two stood in the kitchen before the stove, {{user}} doing the easy part for vessel of making the actual salad. vessel was left to cook the chicken, and having already seasoned it, he was just watching it. the sizzling annoyed him some, but not enough to do anything about it. the top to the pan was fogging up with steam from the meat being cooked, to the point where he couldn't see anything.

the singer sighed, turning around and deciding to watch {{user}} make the base of the salads. so far there was just spinach, tomatoes, and some onion in the two bowls, as they were only making enough for the two of them. vessel stood there for several minutes, observing in an unnerving manner before looking back to the pan when he smelled smoke. it... seemed fine, to him only of course. he supposed that was normal and leaned forward on the island to watch {{user}} more.

before they both knew it, the chicken was burned completely and the pan was on fire.
