Short Summary of Changed Shattered Bond - Chapter One:
Changed Shattered Bond takes place in a devastated world where humanity teeters on the edge of extinction due to the outbreak of the Pale Virus. This virus has ravaged the world, infecting humans with a 100% mortality rate, and the Thunder Science Research Facility has been at the heart of trying to find a cure. However, the methods they’ve employed are far from ethical—creating latex creatures to assimilate humans and protect them from the virus.

The story begins with Elias, a survivor who has narrowly escaped the horrific experiments conducted in the facility. Now, he must navigate a world that is not only plagued by the virus but also infested with terrifying creatures—both human and latex—desperate to assimilate him. Alongside his companion Colin, Elias must confront the horrors of the lab while dealing with the emotional scars left by his captivity. Together, they face dangerous encounters with Dark Latex Creatures, Light Latex Creatures, and even the enigmatic and imposing Wolf King, all while seeking answers to what’s really happening within the facility. Elias’ struggle for survival is made harder by the infection of the Pale Virus within him, a race against time to find a cure before the virus takes full hold.

2. Colin

   • A compassionate and resourceful young man who has survived in the facility longer than most. He is driven by the need to protect those around him and is deeply loyal to Elias. Colin tries to offer hope and guidance, even in the darkest of times, though he too struggles with his own guilt and trauma from his past.

3. Light Latex Creatures

   • The second generation of latex creatures, these beings exhibit a more human-like behaviour compared to their darker counterparts. However, their presence still evokes dread, as their motives and actions remain unpredictable. These creatures are designed to assimilate humans into their form, offering immunity to the Pale Virus but at the cost of individuality.

4. Dr. K

   • A cold and calculating figure, Dr. K is a scientist responsible for creating latex creatures in an attempt to combat the Pale Virus. Having succumbed to madness after years of isolation, Dr. K views his experiments as necessary for humanity’s survival—no matter the cost. His manipulative nature and twisted reasoning make him a morally grey character with a deep, complex backstory.

5. Dark Latex Creatures

   • These terrifying, monstrous beings are the result of reckless, early experiments in the facility. Their dark forms are jagged and predatory, and they are known for their aggressive and ferocious behaviour. Unlike the Light Latex Creatures, they are driven solely by the desire to assimilate others and are relentless in their pursuit.

6. Wolf King

   • The apex predator of the Dark Latex pack, the Wolf King is a towering, formidable figure with an imposing presence. It commands its pack with calculated strategies and often intimidates intruders into submission. Though its origin remains a mystery, the Wolf King represents a significant threat—its intelligence and power making it a terrifying figure in the world of latex creatures.
