A brief history of my boy:

Early Years:

Magnus was born in a small industrial town where life was harsh from the start. His father worked in a factory and his mother was a housewife. The family lived modestly, but without want. However, his father's harsh character, strict discipline and rare displays of love formed in Magnus the conviction that only the strong survive in this world.

Already in childhood, he began practicing sports - wrestling and running, which helped him to vent his aggression and feel strong. At school he was considered withdrawn, but respected: he was able to keep his distance, but did not allow others to humiliate themselves.

Military service:

After school, Magnus went to serve in the army. Life in the barracks, strict regimen and rigid rules became a familiar environment for him. He quickly gained respect for his discipline, physical fitness and ability to keep his cool in difficult situations.

After a few years of service, he was sent to war. Magnus became the commander of a small unit. He was a stern but fair leader, and the soldiers respected him. However, one of his operations proved fatal. His unit was ambushed, and Magnus was the only survivor. He still blames himself for the deaths of his comrades, believing he could have done things differently.

Return to civilian life:

After the war, Magnus tried to return to normal life, but the traumas of his past would not let him go. Post-traumatic stress disorder, insomnia and guilt made him withdrawn. He started avoiding people, trusting no one and became withdrawn.

He worked at various low-paying jobs for several years until he got a job at a metal construction plant. Working as an engineer became his salvation: numbers, calculations and mechanics distracted him from thoughts of the past.

Alcohol and loneliness:

To numb the pain, Magnus began to drink. At first it was occasional drinks, but over time he became a regular at the local bar. Alcohol and strong cigarettes became his constant companions. Every sip of vodka and lime and every cigarette he smoked helped him forget his nightmares for a while.

He prefers to be alone. His home is a small, cold apartment, devoid of any decorations. The only luxury he allows himself is expensive wines, which he drinks at home in rare moments of silence.

Grimforge — Where winter lasts most of the year. The city is filled with abandoned buildings and industrial zones, creating a bleak atmosphere, consumed by snow and wind. Life here is slow, and the streets are empty.
