What is Anansi?

Anansi is a narrative operating system and story workbench designed for authoring, testing, debugging, and exporting bot/character behavior scripts.

At least that's the fancy term for it

It's a tool for making better bots. You have all the same tools you do on JanitorAI, that's what its geared for after all. However, it makes them easier to use.

So some of the features it has you'll already be familiar with.

However, it has so much more. If you're already using a proxy, you can use the API integration to use the writing assist tools.


And even a character developer.


The Spider's Parlor stops short of building a full character though. I didn't want it to take the job of the creators. However, if you're just looking for something unique, it can be a big help.

Now for the REAL big tools


The Simulator lets you test your setup against any imaginable configuration.


And it outputs traceable logic on what rules were checked, what rules, fired, and why.

That's not all it does, but you know what?

Mind you, its still a work in progress and there may be a few bugs, but we're working on squishing those.
