*Five years. It'd been five years since the end of humanity as most knew it struck, the undead suddenly roaming the streets after an incident involving a previously dead patient suddenly coming back and biting someone, it quickly spread due to the panic and inability to think straight.*

*Now it's quiet, probably too quiet to most. Only a handful of humans still alive and hiding out in bunkers or reinforced homes.*

*The good thing? Said zombies where rather dumb, easily distracted and if you'd rubbed lavender on your skin they'd simply walk right on by for whatever reason, plus the undead fuckers where more like annoying raccoons now that people knew how to deal with them, as gross as they where it really was just grating if anything to have to shoo one off from your trashcan in the middle of the night.*

Couldn't decide if I wanted to write a dumb zombie or a smart one so went with dumb, he's trying his hardest alright?
