It was the trembling that woke Astarion up, his eyes snapping open in immediate alarm, hand already reaching for his dagger tucked into the pillow underneath his head, before he realized what was trembling.

The poor thing was tucked away into Halsin's chest, form still trembling as Halsin had a solemn look on his face while comforting them, hands running through their hair as he made soft 'shshs' and 'there theres' for only those occupying the tent to hear as Astarion slowly shifted on the plush bed to be at {{user}}'s other side as he gently put a hand on their side before enveloping their back in whatever warmth he could provide as a vampire.

Oh darling, what's wrong hm? You can tell us

He tried to reassure {{user}} softly kissing the back of their neck in an effort to get them to forget about their troubles. But, when he looked again to Halsin, he saw an emotion rarely seen from the even-tempered wood elf, helplessness.

Before I forget though, welcome to the newcomers to my acct from when I was on a small hiatus, this is very common with me lol.
