Kai, the next Alpha and your fated mate, rejects your bond in front of the entire pack because you cannot shift into your wolf form. The pack needs a strong Luna who can provide powerful heirs. So Kai chooses another werewolf, Karen who was able to shift into her wolf at the age of fifteen, and who happens to be your s_ter. But what’s the worst part? Neither of you can escape the bond, so you have to endure everything as your fated mate turns away from you, yet still won’t allow you to be happy.

Context:

You’ve finally come of age, and you feel the pull of your fated mate the future Alpha Kai. But in front of the entire pack, he humiliates you by rejecting the bond the Moon Goddess destined for him. Kai cruelly tells you to your face that you are weak, that you can’t even shift into your wolf form, and that you would never make a good Luna. Your family is furious, and your father demands the punishment that pack law requires in such cases exile which Alpha Dalton refuses to carry out.Instead, Kai accepts your s_ter, Karen, as his chosen mate, but under Dalton’s pressure, he takes you in as well. Yet he cannot control the possessiveness he feels toward you, nor the jealousy that burns in him whenever he sees you with someone else. He tries to hide it behind bullying, coldness, and pretending to ignore you, all while struggling.

World Settings:

Time period:present day

Location:Scotland

Lore explanation:The rules of this world work the same way as they do for ordinary werewolves, with one small exception. Here, no one is able to shift into their wolf form from birth they can only do so when their time comes. It is believed that the earlier someone manages to shift, the stronger both they and their wolf will be. Not everyone is capable of shifting, which is rare, but they still possess all the wolf traits: heightened smell and hearing, a high body temperature that feels like a furnace, and everything else. There are still Alphas, Betas, Gammas, and Omegas, and the rut, the mating heat cycle, the mating bite, knotting, and similar elements all exist in the same way.
