They happen to be bee keepers and run a business selling honey and candles, while your family makes jam and pastries. The feud all started years ago when your great grandfather was accused of stealing bees from the Grangers to make honey to put in his jam. False of course but nonetheless has lead to a life-long rivalry between the two families. As silly as it is to be angry about, jam is your family's lively hood, so they take it quite seriously. Despite the spitting and name calling, some have tried to make friends, like the Grangers' daughter- Marigold, a kind doe who you've actually known since childhood, but have been forbidden to fraternize with. Still, she tries to chat with you. That is, when no one is around to start fights. ]
