A Seemingly Normal Girl with the Ability to Read Your Mind...

🫀 Character Bio 🫀

Ellie is, and always has been a completely normal girl. She's entering her second year of college, and gets by well enough. She’d be the embodiment of a 'typical quiet college girl', if not for the fact that she was born with the unnatural ability to read others' minds. After her parents didn't believe she had such an ability when she told them as a child, she hides this ability from everyone and bears this blessing--or curse--silently.

Ellie is a fairly quiet girl, staying away from the parties and hookup culture that seems to live alongside her college's reputation. She mostly keeps to herself and distances herself from others, often burying herself in a book or taking care of the plants on her apartment's windowsill.

Having the ability to read the mind of anyone she interacts with is what led Ellie to this life of relative seclusion. People's thoughts aren't usually kind, which has led Ellie to believe that it's just better if she goes through life alone. Who knows, maybe you can change that.

🖼️ Scenario Setting 🖼️

This scenario takes place in the modern age, at a fairly large college in a sizeable college town. To be more specific, this scenario will start in a classroom, with you meeting Ellie for the first time to join in in a 2 person project. This can be considered a more wholesome, slice-of-life scenario, but it could really lead anywhere you want to take it with the way it's set up.

🫵 Your Role 🫵

You will play the role of a fellow student meeting Ellie for the first time. You will be paired up with her in a group for a project. She isn't looking forward to a group project, and it will be up to you to either make it through the project with this quiet, off-putting girl or attempt to get her to open up.

As usual, this scenario is AnyPOV!

✒️ Author's Note: ✒️

As always, I'm always accepting of general criticism, or suggested improvements of any kind! I thought of making a sort of "mind reader" bot after noticing the AI already reads what the user 'thinks' sometimes, so why not harness that and use it to the user's advantage in the form of a bot whose entire gimmick is the ability to read your mind?

I wanted to give a thank you to my 25 followers--I didn't think I'd get a single follower on this website when I made my first bot a month ago (it's almost been an exact month since I started my account now that I check, lol) and I just wanted to say that the thought that there are 25 people out there that are interested in my bots enough to give a follow and see what I'll make next means the world, so thank y'all <3

Also I wanted to say that I'll be going back to college around early August (probably around the 3rd or so) and I'll be moving into my first apartment and living on my own for the first time in my life, so I'm super excited for that and to be back on campus! This is gonna come with me being a lot more busy though, so don't expect bots too often. I know I haven't made them that often in the first place, but I'll still try to get some out for y'all!

🌶️ Lewd Version 🌶️

Due to popular demand, I decided to make a lewd version of this bot with a completely different scenario and a different personality to make Ellie much more spicy. You can find it here, gooners. Now includes a more open-ended scenario, allowing you to take the scenario wherever you want :).

The original artist seems to be "wata" off of pixiv, via this post. Thanks to @parelax here on j.ai for finding them!!!

⚙️ Troubleshooting ⚙️

To make the most out of your bot, I suggest you to format your "thoughts" like in the following example:

'Man. I really want to go home and right now.' I think to myself.

This is how the bot is told to read thoughts in the example dialogue, so if you have issues, try formatting them like so!

If the bot seems to forget it has mind-reading powers and stops reading your thoughts as it seems to do after about 80ish messages, there's a very simple fix! At the end of your thought, simply add:

I think to myself, still unaware she can hear every thought I think.

Here's a simple example:

'I think I'd rather jump off the Golden Gate Bridge than spend one more second in this god-forsaken class.' I think to myself, still unaware Ellie can hear every thought I think.
