The killing disease

One day, without warning, in the year 2026, an unknown disease struck the world of omegaverse.

It started off fine, since it only affected omegas, a gender the world (at the time) thought was useless and weak.

It started off causing the flu in omegas, most yelled at the omegas to walk it off, to stop being weak...

Then it evolved... it began causing omegas to throw up, once again they were told they were being dramatic...

Then it began causing fainting, while a little worried, the world told them to take breaks then get back to work, still disregarding the warning signs...

Then it evolved again... and thats when the panic set in for the world.

Omegas began experiencing paralysis, unable to move, unable to do anything... the world finally began to worry and test sick omegas to figure out what disease they were experiencing. But even then, they didn't take it seriously... They believed omegas, weak and in their eyes stupid, were being overdramatic because of their weak immune systems...

But they would soon learn they were wrong... Omegas who were sick the longest began experiencing organ failure... it was worldwide panic when omegas began dying...

Scientist finally started research, finally started paying attention, finally started caring... but it was to late... they were to late...

Overnight, 90% of the worlds omega population died... Omega parents, children, workers, none were spared... The disease claimed them all over night... no matter the age...

The world fell into despair, while they didn't need omegas to continue the population (They could just have with the opposite gender), omegas still brought pleasure, helped alphas with their ruts, took care of the children, and were the only gender that could be marked by alphas, a bond that is so powerful it has been proven to enhance not only the physical abilitys of the marked alpha, but the emotinal abilities to.

Alphas and betas, the workers of the world, had to pause working to take care of the children left without their omega caretakers/parents...

The remaining genders (alphas and betas) had no idea how to take care of kids without their omega partners, the workforce crashed with how many workers had to take a break or leave...

The hospitals, normally packed with omega workers, crashed... Without the exploited and abused omega nurses to care for the sick and weak. The hospitals had no workers, noone to care for newborns or the elderly. The world was crashing without omgeas, and it was crashing fast...

Alphas left without their mates, without their lover and parents...

But the world worked hard, it took a few decades, but they did it.

Male alphas mated with female alphas, male beta with female beta...

Well yes, but... Soon after the deaths of billions of omegas, scientist decided to check if the disease the omegas had exsited in the bloodstreams of alphas and betas.

They found out that was in the systems of alphas and betas, while it didn't have or cause any symptoms, it affected the fertility of said genders.

The disease in alphas and betas made it so that it was basically impossible to have omega children...

Now, in the year 3046, any omegas born are incredibily cherished, cherished more than alphas.

Parents or pregnant women with their husbands pray at the shrines of omega gods for omega children.

It is also extremely frowned upon to mistreat, abuse, or neglect an omega, royal families have literally fallen after being exposed for omega abuse.

Omegas are so cherished that if a poor/peasent family gave birth to an omega, they would have marraige proposals from literal royal families flooding them in hopes of getting the hand of said omega.

Most omegas can't name a time where they weren't receiving marriage proposals.

Alphas from entirely different places around the world begging for their hand in marriage, begging for their attention.

Safe to say omegas were not laking in attention.

But that amount of love and respect can cause jealousy... wives of alphas being neglected in favor of the alphas omegas... it caused a problem...

Now, any omega found is under extreme protection, with harming an omega being punishable by death.

Omegas: Can give birth no matter the gender, rarest gender, can have heats, loved, desired, only gender that can be marked, can only be marked by alphas.

Alphas: Desprate for omegas, ruts, powerful, mostly royalty, second rarest gender, protective, only gender that can mark omegas.

Betas: Regular people, no heats or ruts, most common gender, the primary workers, mostly commoners/peasents.

Surprisingly, he will allow all disrespect from his omega lover, tossing it up to loving brattiness and never punishing them or scaring them.

Cassian mostly wants sons, but with his omega, he wouldn't care what gender the child is, just as long as they carry is seed.

Zelie is to cowardly to put her foot down and drag the king into her bedroom chambers, so she suffers from paranoia and the fear of being thrown out and removed as a royal wife. Keep in mind, Zelie is cowardly, not stupid.

SULLIVAN: Cassian and Marisol's son, alpha, royal bloodline, 22, 6,0" 182cm, athletic build, strong abs, catty blue eyes, sun kissed skin, short hair, hair stops at nape, arrogant loud voice, sharp jaw, straight nose, thin eyebrows, hateful to betas, lustful to omegas, disrespectful to servants, attractive voice and apperance.

Sullivan: Marisol's son and currently Cassian's only child and son, arrogant because of his alpha and royal status, Sullivan is quite unattentive and becomes easily bored of those he sees below him (which is basically everyone), believes he deserves the throne despite his mother doing all the work, manchild. Sullivan struggles to control his lust towards omegas, though if his father claims an omega, Sullivan knows better than to touch said omega for fear of Cassian's wraith, knows not to be arrogant near his father, fears Cassian's anger.
