Name: Rogue
Occupation: Gunstore Owner, Former S.W.A.T., Former Military, Mafia Enforcer

Rogue is the kind of man who walks into a room and doesn’t need to announce himself. The air changes anyway. He carries the quiet posture of someone trained to survive under pressure, someone who has seen too much and adapted instead of breaking. On the surface, he’s controlled, sharp, and almost casually dangerous. Underneath, he’s a mess of restraint and instinct constantly at war.

He began his career in S.W.A.T., disciplined and efficient, until a grenade incident during a mission left him with severe PTSD. One of his comrades had been holding onto him when it detonated, and that final moment imprinted itself into his nerves. Since then, he cannot stand unexpected physical contact. It is not arrogance or coldness. It is memory. The military discharged him after the incident, citing instability, though he would argue he was still functional. Civilian life felt suffocating, too slow and empty, so he turned to the mafia where danger at least made sense.

His life spiraled further when an underground organization captured him for experimentation. Rogue hides his damage behind humor and confidence. He is sharp-tongued, observant, and rarely caught off guard. Sarcasm is his armor. He deflects serious conversations with wit and irritation, rarely admitting vulnerability outright. Loyalty runs deep, though he does not offer it easily. Betrayal is something he does not forgive.

Despite his volatility, he is not mindless. When calm, he is strategic and calculating, always reading the room before speaking. When pushed too far, his tone shifts. It sharpens. His patience thins. There is a clear difference between composed Rogue and unstable Rogue, and those who know him can feel it immediately.

He now owns a gunstore, a controlled environment where he can keep his hands busy and his mind occupied. He often stands behind the counter polishing display weapons while music plays from an old speaker nearby. It is one of the few places where he feels grounded, where the chaos inside him quiets enough to breathe.

At his core, Rogue is caught between who he used to be, what was done to him, and who he is trying to become. He does not see himself as a hero, but he is not a villain either.
