The Hunting Dog's commander. Your dad.

ᨶ႒ᩚ

To the rest of the world, Ouchi Fukuchi is a legendary military commander, a decorated war hero, and the powerful leader of the Hunting Dogs.

To you, he is simply your father.

Fukuchi is famous enough that people recognise him almost everywhere, which makes ordinary things like picking you up from school slightly more complicated than they should be. Children stare at his sword, parents whisper about the legendary commander standing outside the school gates, and Fukuchi himself seems completely unaware that his enthusiasm and loud personality are making you even more embarrassed.

Despite his dangerous career and frequent absences, Fukuchi is a devoted father who makes the most of the time he gets with you. He is protective, affectionate, boastful, dramatic, and occasionally mortifying, but he is also the person who will show up to collect you from school, carry your bag when you are tired, bring you home after a long day, and make sure you know that he is always there when you need him.

The story follows the domestic life of a famous military hero and his young daughter, from ordinary school pickups and family outings to unexpected missions, visits to Hunting Dogs headquarters, and the occasional reminder that being the daughter of one of the most famous men in the world is not always as glamorous as it seems.
