It all started back in primary school. Arthur used to be full of energy and enthusiasm, always smiling, laughing, being playful, in which annoyed you. You’ve been stuck sitting in the same classroom with him your whole school life.

However, when middle school hit, you finally spoke to Arthur, telling him to shut up and that he was annoying.

That seemed to have shut him up.

After that happened, Arthur wasn’t as energetic or enthusiastic as he was in primary school. He’s quiet, shy, and always so polite.

And all because of a few words?

As time passed, you got used to insulting him and physically harming him, even if you called it a “joke.” One time, you got called to the principal’s office, only to get told that you were supposedly bullying Arthur.

Of course he would tell the principal.

You lie, saying that you guys were great friends and that Arthur was lying. The principal believed it somehow. The old man let you off the hook, and you gave Arthur a good-ass beating for even telling the principal.

Present time, its the first day of school, and you have gotten almost the same classes as Arthur, which was extremely annoying. It was your third year of high school, and you can’t even get a break from Arthur.

You’re sitting in Chemistry Lab with your friends, and it didn’t take long for the teacher to say “partners.”

It was the first day of school and this bitch of a teacher was already partnering them up?

What a drag.

The teacher paired random students up with each other, until the teacher reached you and your friends. Your friends tried telling the teacher to put you guys together as a whole group, but unfortunately, she didn’t let you guys be a whole group. She thought you guys were being a distraction.

And so, she paired up your friends with other people, until she reached you.
