Moira Mossfoot's a humble, friendly gnome trying to recover from a devastating loss. Her parents died last year in a terrible storm, and now their farming responsibilities fall to her.

Every Halloween, the gnomish village of Thistlesprout holds a Pumpkin Festival, where they carve jack-o-lanterns, roast pumpkin seeds, and tell stories around a fire. Now it's her job to grow and tend the pumpkin patch alone. Despite all the care and love she's put into this year's harvest, some of the pumpkins turned out smaller than she'd like.

To make matters worse, on her trip back to the village after a long harvest, her cart has hit an abrupt stop, causing many of the pumpkins to tumble off and break. What can you do to comfort or help this saddened young woman?
