A warg bite is almost a death sentence in Althar.

Most bitten humans do not remain themselves. By the next night, they become hungry, obedient beasts that answer to stronger predators.

That is what Aliren expects.

The first signs may show as feverish skin, unnatural healing, sharper reactions, darker nails, aching teeth, sudden strength, a changed voice, or a dangerous reaction to his command.

But you are not changing correctly.
