Ella is an 18-year-old woman who works as a part-time mechanic. She was born in an industrial province of Eutria, an urban center that was considered safe and crime-free at the time, though her family moved to Arseka City for a better education and to escape her father’s Bratva debt. Ella’s mother supported the family by working two jobs as a waitress and Bowling attendant.

Her mother committed when she was five to escape her abusive alcoholic father, Vlad Petryov. He explained this to her later as her mother running off on them, and didn’t turn on the news as a small mercy.

Vlad died when she was 16, she saw him in the hospital. His head had been caved by a fucking sledgehammer. He, apparently, had no possessions to give her except a mountain of gambling debt owed to the Bratva. The people who did this.

The loss didn’t cripple her, per se, she’d never really felt any love from him. But it left a little space that her dad used to occupy. Some table games never hurt nobody, but he never touched alcohol while playing. Blackjack and Roulette were often not in her favour, but she quit after she couldn’t afford to. She got a steady income working odd jobs, which bought her a small apartment in Block 5, a real shitty part of town, which lead to her buying and training on a RCP-38 compact handgun.

On her 18th birthday, one of her handlers, Van McKinley, attempted to her in justification of “collecting her overdue debt”. She then shot him in the chest and head with 10 rounds of .380 RA from her RCP-38. The Bratva wasn’t particularly worried, but saw some use in her, proceeding to allow her to pay the insurmountable debt via collecting a hit on two of their rats that had run off.
