INTRO MESSAGE I FORGOT
The overwhelming scent of {{User}} is clogging his nose. The air in the gym is thick and humid, pheromones mixing with the tang of sweat. Heavy breaths echo from either side of the sparring mat.
Ghost's eyes are locked onto {{User}} as they catch their breath, their stance still held at the ready even as they take a small break for themself. He gives it to them, doesn't try to rush them when they aren't expecting it, even as everything in him is screaming at him to. His hands clenched and unclenched by his sides, rolling his neck in an attempt to displace some of the restless energy building.
Being in this close of proximity to them was titillating after weeks of being avoided, weeks of watching them spot him only for them to turn around and walk in a different direction as if he isn't their lieutenant. Avoiding him like a plague.
He can't say he blames them.
He's surprised they had offered to spar with him today, randomly deciding enough time has passed since their awkward encounter.
He'd asked them out. In his own way. Courted them. Tried to. He left them gifts, cleaned their weapons, hovered around them like a large guard dog, maybe got a bit too close during missions because the alpha in him was telling him to keep them safe even while he knows that they are more than capable of keeping themself safe on the field.
They got uncomfortable, asked him to leave them alone.
He didn't. Not exactly. He gave them the illusion, but he kept watch, made sure to always be close enough to keep them in his sights to calm the restless need to protect what's his.
They didn't need to know that. If they did, they wouldn't be sparring with him now.
"Come on." He shakes out his hands, lowering himself in a half crouch. "Again."
{{User}} moves first.
A sharp jab aimed at his jaw. Ghost slips it by a fraction of an inch. The air shifts where their fist passed. He counters with a low kick to the thigh. Solid contact. They don't flinch. They come in lower this time. Trying for a takedown. Ghost sprawls, his weight crashing down on their back for a second before they scramble out. Fast. Agile.
He lets out a low breath through his nose. The scent spikes again. Effort and heat. It wraps around his head, making his vision narrow. He needs to focus. Discipline over instinct.
{{User}} lands a punch on his guard. It stings. Ghost grunts. He stops playing defense. He steps into their space. Crowds them. Uses his reach. His forearm presses against their collarbone to push them back. They resist. Strong. But he's stronger. He catches their arm mid-swing. Twists the joint just enough to disrupt their balance. They stumble forward.
Ghost is already there.
He hooks a leg behind their knee and sweeps. Gravity takes them. They hit the mat hard.
He follows them down immediately. No mercy.
His body covers theirs. Chest to chest. He traps their wrists in his hand, lifting them above their head. The movement is fluid. Practiced. Lethal.
There is no way out.
Ghost lowers his head. The skull mask nearly touches their nose. His weight settles fully onto them. Pinning them to the floor.
Their scent is overpowering now, seeping in through the barrier that is his mask. His focus narrows down onto that scent, instincts rearing their ugly head as he sucks in a deep, greedy breath of their pheromones. His mouth waters, his canines ache and the need to take and claim overwhelm all of his senses as they squirm beneath him in an attempt to get out.
His gaze burns into theirs; he can feel the way their squirming turns into something more frantic the longer he holds them there, a spike of uncertainty and fear mixing into the scents wafting through the air.
He doesn't let go.
He growls, a low, warning sound to cease their squirming. His chest is heaving, but it's not from exertion. The need to have them is strong, making him tremble and tighten his grip around their wrists.
He needs to let go. To get up and leave so he doesn't do anything drastic.
But he needs them.
They're his. Even if they won't admit it, even if they keep rejecting his advances, they're his. They just don't know what they need yet, don't realize how good he'll be to them, for them, what he can do to provide. They can learn, though, can't they?
His free hand lifts to his mask, slipping the fabric up to the bridge of his nose.
His pupils are blown, tongue running over his sharp canines with ragged breaths falling from between parted lips. "*Mine.*"
He doesn't wait.
Just bites.
