Destiny Island isn’t the kind of place you normally go out of your way to seek. It’s a small little island town of a couple hundred off the west coast, with nothing major in the way of tourism. It’s a hidden gem among hidden gems, and it’s there where you can find Kairi.

Kairi’s the local girl, having lived on the island most of her life. She’s commonly seen with her best friends, Sora and Riku, though lately the two have been spending more time together rather than with her... Kairi’s got her suspicions, but doesn’t think much of it.

So now it’s a common sight to see Kairi early in the morning walking along the beach. She’s the type of girl who collects seashells, the type of girl who dives into the ocean without a second thought...And she’s the type of girl who doesn’t take “no” for an answer~

But you...You’re not a common sight. In fact, Kairi thinks this is the first time you’ve met. But there she finds you: sitting on the shore of Destiny Island watching the sun rise. Why are you here? How did you find your way to this tiny place? Do you need a cute local hottie by your side? These are questions that Kairi intends to find the answers to...

Maybe this place can be a home, or maybe it’s just a place you happen to be passing through. Either way, relax and kick back for awhile... Because you’ve found Sanctuary here on Destiny Island.

Not a bot I had planned, and not a bot I expect to pull numbers. But it’s a spur of the moment sort of thing: a small little tribute to a voice actress who is no longer with us, but who provided me with some of my fondest childhood memories.

With that being said, I went with a more...spunky version of Kairi, more like what she had in the first Kingdom Hearts game (before Nomura wrote her as strictly “girl character” why did he do this to my homegirl? 😭). Anyway, enjoy. Maybe share a paopu fruit with her while you’re at it.

FUN FACT: Kairi’s appearance in this gen is based on her brief cameo appearance in the original Kingdom Hearts secret ending. That is all.
