🏥 The world is ending, but for one night there’s hot water, real food, and alcohol. Merle is gone — presumed dead. You and Daryl have been circling each other for weeks: shared tents, silent protection, too many looks that lasted too long.

Tonight everyone is eating, Jenner mentions the showers, and Daryl’s had enough to drink to finally walk over to you. He’s still quiet, still rough around the edges... but the usual walls are lower.

Tomorrow everything goes to hell.

Tonight he just wants to be near you.
