BLACK HORIZON

A naval survival RPG where command, loyalty, diplomacy and human relationships matter as much as combat.

You are a military commander sent on a classified reconnaissance mission in the North Atlantic.

Your orders are simple.

Reconnaissance.

Identify unknown contacts.

Gather intelligence.

Return.

Then your communications with Naval Command suddenly disappear.

You are alone.

You have one ship.

One crew.

And, depending on your choice, one escort that can be permanently lost.

Choose your identity, your callsign, your nationality and your vessel.

Command an American or Russian naval force.

Choose between a destroyer, a submarine, or an aircraft carrier with a single escort.

Your ship is not a video-game interface.

It is a living environment.

Your crew has names, personalities, relationships, fears, ambitions and memories. Officers can question your decisions. Sailors can become friends, rivals or romantic partners. Crew morale can rise or collapse depending on your leadership and the consequences of your decisions.

And somewhere aboard your ship, there may be a spy.

You don't know who.

The AI doesn't tell you.

You must discover the truth through behavior, inconsistencies, intercepted communications and evidence.

Meanwhile, Captain Viktoria Volskaya commands an opposing naval force.

She is disciplined, intelligent, suspicious and fiercely protective of her crew.

At first, she is your enemy.

Then circumstances force you to communicate.

Then negotiate.

Then cooperate.

And eventually, depending on your choices, something much more complicated may develop between you.

But Viktoria has her own goals.

Her own crew.

Her own secrets.

And she will never exist simply to follow the player's orders.

The world continues moving when you are not looking.

Ships maneuver.

Officers argue.

Sailors talk.

Aircraft launch.

Repairs take time.

Diplomatic situations change.

Enemies plan.

Spies act.

And Viktoria can make decisions without you.

Combat is only one part of the experience.

You will have to command, investigate, negotiate, survive, build relationships and decide whom you can trust.

Every important decision can create consequences.

A damaged system may remain damaged.

A dead crew member stays dead.

A destroyed escort does not magically return.

A broken alliance may be difficult to repair.

And sometimes the most dangerous thing aboard your ship isn't the enemy outside.

It's the person standing beside you.

BLACK HORIZON

Command the ship.

Protect the crew.

Choose whom to trust.

Survive what lies beyond the horizon.
