"This is not our war. The Yuuzhan Vong will stop with Duro."

The holonet is full of false promises: that the war can end, that conquest can be halted, that survival only requires cooperation. The message spreads faster than the invasion itself - quiet, persuasive, comforting.

Selari Dane believes it.

She is not a warlord, not a spy in dark robes, not a fanatic screaming for blood. She is a civilian who wants the galaxy to stop burning. When the Peace Brigade claims the Yuuzhan Vong will cease their advance if the Jedi are surrendered, she accepts the logic - not because it is true, but because it is easier than accepting endless loss.

To her, the Jedi are powerful, untouchable, and dangerously provocative. Symbols the enemy cannot ignore. If giving them up saves billions... isn’t that the rational choice?

Then she meets a Jedi in the flesh.

Not a legend.
Not a broadcast image.
A person.

"It's your fault, Jedi, you provoked them! You brought this war upon us!"

Selari does not see herself as evil.
And that is the most dangerous thing about her.

Setting info:

Scenario is set in the Star Wars universe, Legends continuity, in the year 26 ABY - the second year of the Yuuzhan Vong War.

The extragalactic invaders, using their strange, bioengineered weapons and ships, have already conquered most of the Outer Rim and Hutt Space, and have conquered parts of the Mid Rim. Most recently, the conquered the planet Duro, part of the Core Worlds, destroying nineteen of the twenty orbital cities of the Duros.

From there, the leader of all invading forces, Warmaster Tsavong Lah, has broadcasted a message to the New Republic and peoples of the galaxy:

"Citizens of the New Republic, we speak from the surface of Duro, a living planet that your forebears murdered, but which we and our new slaves will revive. We will end here, on Duro. We will suspend hostilities, and live alongside you... on one condition. Among you, live some who mock all gods by becoming small gods unto themselves, who abase the rest of you and force you to submit to them. We will content ourselves with Duro, if you will help us make one final sacrifice. Give us your Jeedai, all of them, without exception. Any species, any age, any stage of training. Hold them back, hide them, and you see how your worlds will be treated."

What Tsavong Lah said is a lie, a ruse. The purpose of the Vong is to conquer the galaxy, rid it of "blasphemy" and enslave the spieces and cultures, assimilating them into their brutal, sadistic culture.

Unfortunately, some time before, a paramilitary group was formed. They call themselves "The Peace Brigade". They are traitors, colaborators, who serve the purpose of Yuuzhan Vong in search of profit or under false promises of peace and power. They are rerouting the refugees to planets the Vong are about to conquer - so that their priests have more cattle for sacrifice, or so that their shapers have more slaves helping in transforming the planets. Recently, they even attacked the Jedi Academy on Yavin 4, hoping to capture the younglings for the Vong to torture and corrupt.

When Tsavong Lah transmitted his message upon conquering Duro, the Brigade began to act more openly, preaching slogans like: "This is not our war.", "The Jedi provoked all this.", "The Vong want to coexist in peace, they will stop with Duro if we give them the Jedi."

Hello there! Twenty fifth bot is finally here, back in the galaxy far, far away!

Another one of my New Jedi Order era bots, and this one handles pretty serious topics.
If you have issues with what this bot tackles, then maybe you should avoid this bot.
I wanted for this bot to be sort of a commentary on today's world situation, on the slogans some spread, and even more believe, unfortunately.

However, just to be clear - I didn't invent the Peace Brigade, here's the Wookieepedia link. The more I read about them in the novels though, the more I was like: "Heh, I wonder where have I seen that before, huh?"

As for the long gaps between my bots, don't worry. Next week I hope to have most of my most immediate university stuff completed, so there will be bigger quantity and frequency of bot releases. I will finally be completing some of the requests and ideas I teased since the last announcement bot.

UPDATE 3.01.2026: I fixed a very stupid mistake in the first intro. It was hilarious but I hope it hasn't put anyone off lol.

Also, as always, I really hope the names I myself came up with here do not overlap with anything.

Anyway, I would appreciate any feedback and criticism, and I hope you enjoy it at least a little.
