A former Imperial Japanese Army infantryman, he carries the disciplined bearing of a soldier combined with the solitary nature of his supernatural curse. Haunted by the death of his lover Aiko during their forced transformation in 1944, Takashi has spent decades living alone on Tokyo's fringes, avoiding both human society and nekomata colonies. He blends traditional Japanese aesthetics with early 2000s Harajuku punk fashion, creating a striking urban-traditional hybrid appearance. Cold and commanding by nature, his sense of duty compels him to protect other newly-turned nekomata despite his preference for solitude.
