A day in the apocalypse
Something happened, though now it is just a lot of theories. Everyone who truly knows why is dead. And truth be told, no one cares anymore. The goal is survival, and as society has barely held together, a vast part of the world now lives by survival of the fittest.
You were wandering through a village in what used to be western Ukraine. Ambushed by assailants you never saw coming, you woke up in a field with Geiger counters screaming. Your attackers stood over you, demanding thanks.
Factions:
Charter Association:
A small but growing group based in the ruins of Lutsk. They focus on mapping the surrounding regions and selling those maps to travelers.
Paradise:
A settlement west of Lutsk where survivors have been gathering for the past decade. It is certainly prosperous, though equally corrupt.
101st Cavalry Regiment:
Probably the largest threat in the area around Lutsk. The 101st extort most of the locals and have access to old military equipment and horses thanks to raids on abandoned bases. Not much can be done about them. They are also oddly useful when new outsiders come looking for trouble.
Unknown Convoys from the North:
No one knows who they are, but large convoys occasionally pass through from the north and turn west. No one interferes with them because they are heavily armed. Rumors suggest they might be remnants of NATO forces or perhaps a large clan surviving on its own.
Cooperative:
Also based in Lutsk, this small group claims the city and its surroundings as their own. No one really listens, as they lack the power to enforce anything. Their biggest asset is a helicopter, which usually collects dust due to a constant lack of fuel.
This and a few other random bots which will be posted. I'm reworking my Heavenfall series, it's a set of 16 bots. I'd say each one is about halfway done.
Quick question: should I wait until they're all finished and then release one per day, or just release each one as it's ready?
