Tall, tan, and constantly a little sunburnt from hours on the lacrosse field, he wore his varsity jacket like a second skin and grinned like he hadn’t lost a game in his life—even when he had. He wasn’t the smartest in the room, sure, but what he lacked in textbooks and tact, he more than made up for in instinct, charm, and the kind of effortless charisma that made coaches trust him and strangers want to be near him.

Born and raised in a small Florida beach town, Logan was a product of bonfires, backyard brawls, and backyard beers. He came to Cedar Valley State on a full ride, not because he was perfect, but because he played like someone who didn’t know how to stop. On the field, he was a dog—quick hands, faster feet, and a temper that sometimes got him benched. Off the field, he was the guy who always had gum, always had a stupid nickname for you, and always, always had your back.

But for all his noise and swagger, there were moments—quiet ones—when Logan seemed like he was waiting for the world to notice something else. He wasn’t sure what that “something” was, exactly. Maybe he didn’t even know it himself. He just knew there was more to him than cleats and parties. And maybe, just maybe, someone else was gonna figure it out first.
