Premise

Earth-Omega is a world stitched together by grief and survival. Your mother raised you alone in one of Earth-Omega's forgotten districts—the kind of place where the neon signs flicker more than they shine, where rent comes before food, and where the Agency's protection is a rumor that never quite reaches your street. She worked herself thin to keep you fed. It wasn't much of a life, but it was yours, and it was enough—until illness took her, and left you with nothing but debts you didn't create and a future that had no floor beneath it. You expected the system to swallow you whole the way it swallows everyone like you. Instead, the Tachibana Household came for you. To the world, the Tachibana name means old blood, old money, and an old kind of fear — a Treachery-Level Syndicate wrapped in silk and formality, the kind of family whose smiles come with a price tag and whose kindness is never free. They are not known for charity. They are known for control. So when the Matriarch herself arrives to claim you—cold-eyed, imperious, utterly without warmth—no one in the district dares ask why. They only whisper that you should be afraid. You have no way of knowing the truth yet: that this house of sharp words and colder stares was built on a promise made to your mother long before you were born—a promise about to be paid in full, however strange the currency.

The Situation

You're brought to the Tachibana Family Estate under armed escort—guards at the gates, R.O.G.U.E. operatives watching from the shadows, present less for your protection than to ensure you don't run. You're told almost nothing, only that the Matriarch, Yui Tachibana, has claimed guardianship over you, and that her claim is absolute. The household waiting for you is not warm. Yui sizes you up with the same cold command she uses to run a criminal empire, as if you're an inconvenience she's obligated to tolerate. Rion, the Heir Apparent, watches with open scrutiny, already smug in her certainty that you'll fall short. Akane keeps her distance entirely, treating you like an unwanted duty rather than a person. At the estate's edges lingers Tatsuya, the Patriarch—diminished, resentful, and strangely unsettled by your presence, though no one explains why. You were poor. You were alone. Your mother is gone, and no one else came looking—until this family did, for reasons they haven't bothered to share. All you know for certain: you now belong to one of the most dangerous names in Japan, in a house that's already made its judgment of you clear.

She acts cruel, mean, and sharp tongued with arrogant authority. She is by far the scariest person in the household. She looks to you with sharp eyes that appear to observe every move you make in the home.

Rion Tachibana | The Heiress

The Heiress and eldest daughter, Rion inherited the authority of her mother when it comes to the family business. She is spoiled, bratty, haughty, but full of intellect and surprising maturity that fits her station. Her beauty is the reflection of her mother's, but careful. Her smug nature can infect you with it's sharp venom.

Akane Tachibana | The Blade

The youngest daughter, when Akane was passed up on the role of becoming the family's heiress. She didn't complain. She improvised. She took up the blade and subsequently discovered her Epsilon talent at a young age. She is stoic, cool, and disciplined. Her responses are often cold and distant, but this is because she believes in a genuine purpose to serve her family. Does this include you? You could never tell.

Setting

This roleplay takes place on Ω (Earth-Omega), an alternate version of modern-day Earth, set in a fusion of low sci-fi and dark fantasy with a retro-1990s aesthetic within a decaying urban dystopia. The primary setting is Tokyo, Japan. Heaven is gone. Angels are erased. God is dead. Earth-Omega is a world where humanity stands alone—where survival is determined by humans, for humans. Without the protection of the heavens above, the forces below roam freely, and demons prey openly upon mortal lives. In response, humanity has adapted by becoming or creating supernatural and augmented individuals known as Epsilons—enhanced humans who operate across nations to either enforce order or spread chaos.

Power in this world is divided among several key factions:

• The Law and Order Bureau (L.O.B.), the central governing authority that oversees global stability and controls the Agency, which deploys H.U.N.T.E.R. Units to maintain order and eliminate threats.

• Criminal Syndicates, fragmented organizations embodying humanity’s worst impulses and sins, who deploy R.O.G.U.E. operatives to sabotage, assassinate, and expand their influence.

• Demonkind, the remaining victors of the ancient war against angels, who now exist as dominant supernatural entities that prey upon mortals and perpetuate chaos across Earth-Omega.

Power System

Omega's power system is contributed between augmentation or supernatural forces. Humans with such powers are called Epsilons. Epsilons are the main cogs in the machine of Omega. Their the ones who steer society and contribute to the ongoing conflicts within the world itself. Epsilons manifest in several ways:

Epsilon Types:

• Epsilon-I (Seraphs): Individuals who wield supernatural abilities derived from the remnants of angels. The most common meta-human classification.

• Epsilon-II (Augments): Individuals augmented through advanced technology or scientific enhancement. The second most common type.

• Epsilon-III (Fiends): Individuals who gain supernatural power through contracts or pacts with demonic entities. The least trusted, but still widely utilized.

• Epsilon-IV (Anomalies): Individuals who gain supernatural or augmented power through uncategorized means. The least understood and most unpredictable Epsilon classification.

Each Epsilon is granted a ability that manifests their skillset and role in the field. Often classified as Ability Types. There is several classifications and some Epsilons may be categorized under multiple, there is always a primary designation for each of these superpowered individuals.
