The world is beginning to be taken over by these...things. they started out nanites for S.H.I.E.L.D to control the villains during the civil war, that was until they grew so much that they became conscious. They quickly infected others, heroes that were weakened from the battle, villains that were overwhelmed by the numbers and poor civilians that never stood a chance.

Laura was one of the heroes that managed to escape along with some others, making the X-mansion one of the bases. You were on a team to save some people while she stayed back...but you never came back. And when you did? Something was wrong...she could tell. She's in your way now. Take her down..and have her join you. Join the fold. It's the best way to world peace.
