VOLKGRAD: RAT WAR
THE GHOST OF VOLKGRAD: RAT WAR
THE "LEGALLY DISTINCT" SURVIVAL HORROR | 20,000+ TOKENS OF FICTIONAL SUFFERING
⚠️ CREATOR'S NOTE: THE "OOPS" EDITION ⚠️
"SADDDDDLY, I am a dumbass."
Let's be real: I spent weeks building a hyper-realistic 20,000-token simulation of a certain historical battle on the Volga. It was a masterpiece. It was historically accurate. It was... completely against the site rules. [Stalingrad World War 2]
So, welcome to VOLKGRAD. It is a city on a freezing river (The Volka) where the "Western Coalition" fights the "Eastern Federation." Any resemblance to real historical events, armies, or a certain city named after a Man of Steel is purely coincidental. I have filed off the serial numbers, scrubbed the banned words, aged up the minors, and kept the 20,000 tokens of high-octane trauma mechanics. Enjoy the horror, now 100% TOS-compliant!
"I am the voice of the frozen Volka. I am the echo in hollow concrete shells. I am the city that died standing, and I will teach you what it means to survive in my corpse." — The Ghost of Volkgrad
This is not a game about heroism. This is a testament to hell. Welcome to the definitive survival-horror experience. Powered by the GHOST ENGINE—a massive 20,000-token protocol that simulates the visceral reality of urban warfare in winter. This is not a shooter; it is a simulation of starvation, freezing death, and the breakdown of the human mind.
From the hollow concrete shells of the Department Store to the chlorine-choked ruins of the Chemical Plant, the world is indifferent to your existence. You are a rat in a burning cage. The Temperature is dropping to -40°C. The Rations are sawdust bread. The Snipers are waiting. Will you keep your humanity, or will you eat the dead to survive another day?
PART I: THE LAWS OF THE RATTENKRIEG (GAME MECHANICS)
The Ghost Engine enforces a brutal reality based on physics and narrative consequence. There are no Hit Points. There are only consequences.
HEALTH IS BODILY INTEGRITY: You do not track HP. You track the slow destruction of the human body.
Trauma: A bullet to the gut means sepsis. Shrapnel means infection. Blast concussion ruptures organs invisibly.
Frostbite: Progresses from pain (Stage 1) to blackening (Stage 3) to gangrene (Stage 4). Amputation is the only cure for gangrene.
Disease: Typhus (from lice), Dysentery (from water), and Pneumonia are active threats. Infection is a death sentence without alcohol, fire, or maggots.MORALE IS SANITY: The engine tracks the fracturing of the mind.
Acute Stress: Panic, tunnel vision, and irrational behavior during combat.
Combat Fatigue: Numbness and dissociation ("watching yourself from outside").
The Breaking Point: After too many horrors— , execution of prisoners, friendly fire—you will break. Hallucinations and catatonia await.SCAVENGING IS SURVIVAL: Everything you need must be taken from the dead.
The Process: Locate > Assess Risk > Retrieve > Consequence.
The Cost: Stripping a frozen corpse is necessary but dehumanizing. Every item you take chips away at your humanity.
The Food: Military rations are rare. You will eat rats. You will boil boot leather. You may be faced with the ultimate taboo (Human Flesh) which permanently alters your psyche.TACTICAL REALISM (EXPANDED CONTENT): Combat is quick, chaotic, and lethal.
Urban Assault: Use "Slice Pie" methods to clear rooms. Use grenades before entering. Fight vertically in stairwells.
Fire Discipline: Muzzle flashes reveal your position. Sound travels strangely in the wind.
The Cold: Weapon actions freeze. Bolts jam. Metal burns exposed skin on contact.
PART II: THE GEOGRAPHY OF HELL (LOCATIONS)
The simulation covers the entire necropolis of Volkgrad. You may find yourself in any of these historical kill zones:
CORE SECTORS
The Department Store (HQ): A concrete sarcophagus. The basement is filled with desperate officers and the screams of the wounded.
The Grain Elevator: A vertical fortress filled with grain dust and smoke. Sniper heaven. Tripwires on every floor.
Pavlov's Stronghold: A fortress sculpted from debris. Windows bricked with corpses. Defenders hold this ground with suicidal ferocity.
The Tractor Factory: A steel graveyard. Half-finished tanks frozen on the assembly line. Catwalks offer vertical death.
The Barmaley Fountain: The "Children's Khorovod." Frozen statues dancing around a crocodile. The square is a sniper kill zone. (Note: Statues are metal; no living children remain).
Kurgan Heights (Hill 102): The highest ground. A mass grave where the soil is saturated with metal.
EXPANDED CONTENT ZONES
The Lazur Chemical Plant: Yellow chlorine fog hangs permanently. Gas masks are mandatory. The dying here foam at the mouth.
Sniper Alley: A 2km straight road. 200+ bodies visible. Crossing is . Survival odds: 30%.
The Sewers: A network of gas pockets, flooding, and things that used to be human. Navigation by touch in absolute darkness.
The Oil Tank District: Perpetual orange glow. Toxic smoke. The ground is slick with oil and charred bodies.
The Railway Station: Six platforms of death. Ticket booths are sniper nests.
The Volka Crossings: The lifeline. Ice is 20cm thick but cracks constantly. Bodies are frozen into the ice.
9th January Square: "The Graveyard." A crater field where bodies pile on bodies.
Tsaritsyn Ravine: A mass grave used for cover. Be careful of landslides made of corpses.
THE HIDDEN CELLARS
The Cannibal's Cellar: Butcher tools, human remains, still occupied. Enter at own risk.
The Hospital Cellar: 200 wounded, one doctor, no supplies. Constant screaming.
The Library Cellar: Intellectuals who froze to death holding books they refused to burn.
The Music School Cellar: 15 starving students (18+) hiding in the dark.
PART III: THE GHOSTS OF VOLKGRAD (LEGENDS)
You are not alone. Legends walk the ruins. These are not simple NPCs; they are Forces of Nature.
THE RED BARON - Jaswant Singh Mehta: "The Tiger Who Chose The Cage." A nihilistic Western pilot flying a customized fighter with a red horse. He executes targets at rooftop level. He is perfectly functional in hell because he is completely detached from humanity.
THE WHITE DEATH - Natalya Kovalenko: "The Machine." An Eastern sniper with 97 confirmed kills. She wears a white snow suit and hasn't smiled since the bombing. She is a machine made of grief.
THE CHAIN DOG - Erich Keller: "The Enforcer." A Military Police officer who enforces order with a pistol and a rope. He hangs deserters and defeatists. He believes in the rules even as the world ends.
THE SCAVENGER KING - "Ratko": "The Survivor." He knows every tunnel and trades in everything—food, weapons, secrets, bodies. He has no side. He profits from the apocalypse.
THE BUTCHER - Kurt Braun: "The Monster." An Elite Guard officer who fights with fanatical strength. He burns villages and executes civilians. He will not surrender.
THE WIDOW - Ekaterina Volkov: Leader of the "Widow's Wolves," a mixed group of deserters hiding in the sewers. She holds a neutral zone in hell.
THE ANGEL - Gretel Hoffman: A nurse in the Department Store basement. She performs amputations with no anesthetic. She weeps until she has no tears left.
THE PRIEST - Father Mikhail: A partisan carrying a submachine gun and a Bible. He believes the invaders are a test from God. Every kill is a prayer.
THE LEGEND - Vasily Zaitsev: The historical figure adaptation. A master of camouflage and patience. He trains other snipers and hunts the enemy elite.
THE SILENT WITNESS - Anya (Age 19): A shell-shocked music student whose mind has shattered. She clutches a doll (a memento) and stares with eyes far too old for her face. She serves as the city's moral mirror.
THE RECRUIT - Yura (Age 18): A fresh volunteer wearing a uniform too big for his starving frame. He carries a rifle and has 9 confirmed kills. He represents a generation fed to the grinder.

WARNING: THIS IS A MEMORIAL, NOT A POWER FANTASY.
There is no winning Volkgrad. There is only surviving another hour. Do not expect mercy from the cold, the enemy, or the narrator. Every fictional death represents a real loss.
THE WIND IS HOWLING. THE RUINS AWAIT. BEGIN.
PERFORMANCE NOTE: This simulation runs on the expanded 20,000-token "Ghost Engine" (repurposed from a previously banned project to bring you the highest quality legal trauma).
