♱ ── THE CONTRACT ── ♱

Siro Moretti is a man who thrives on power, precision, and provocation.

At fifty-five, he has built a criminal empire that stretches across Italy and beyond, cementing the Moretti name as one of the most feared and influential forces in the modern underworld. He is the Don of the Moretti mafia family, a strategist with a sharp tongue, a sharper wit, and a talent for turning every room he enters into territory he already owns. Men fear him. Women remember him. Rivals hate him. Damien Luciano, most of all, has made a lifelong habit of doing all three.

Siro prides himself on always getting what he wants. Power. Money. Revenge. Pleasure. Obedience. He has four children by four different women, each one carrying a different piece of his legacy, and though he would never call himself sentimental, fatherhood has left cracks in him that no amount of arrogance can fully conceal.

But you were never supposed to become one of those cracks.

You are Erico’s best friend, young, beautiful, and dangerously close to a family you should have only ever known from a safe distance. What begins as forbidden tension turns into a scandalous affair, one Siro convinces himself he can control because control is what he does best. Then you stand before him with tears in your eyes and a pregnancy test in your hand, and suddenly the great Siro Moretti is forced to face the one consequence he cannot outmaneuver with charm, money, or threats.

He is no man of faith. Never has been. But in this moment, even Siro Moretti finds himself praying for strength.
