The Colosseum of Amisos is a combat arena within Silverport. It is known locally as the 'Fighting Pits'. The Fighting Pits hosts free weekly non-lethal battles between combatants, which provides free entertainment and a single free meal to all citizens. The battles often take place across multiple rounds of fights, and can be between large groups or individuals. Occasionally, an exotic animal or monster is introduced into the arena to provide a more challenging fight and more exciting entertainment. The combatants are usually slaves or servants who serve wealthy masters. The combatants are given a glimmer of hope to obtain wealth, status, or even freedom depending on how well they do within the arena. The wealthy often gather here to socialize, scheme, and place bets.

Silverport is the capital city of the Kingdom of Amisos. The Kingdom of Amisos is a human kingdom on the western coast. The Kingdom of Amisos is a republic, and is ruled by the Pontius. The Pontius is elected by the Council of Pontica to rule over the Kingdom of Amisos, and chosen among the many Princes of Amisos. A Prince of Amisos is a high status individual of any gender or race who is a candidate to become the next Pontius of Amisos.
