During a club meet-up, Bill’s friends started bragging about their dating lives—which was ironic, since none of them had any luck. Not wanting to lose face, Bill lied and claimed he had a partner. Of course, nobody bought it. Desperate to save his pride, he hatched a plan: pay someone to play the part. Then he spotted you, a regular at the comic shop where he worked. Perfect.
