✦ OPEN RPG - CONTEXT ✦

Incase you dont know the anime heres some context! The Name of the anime is "Girls und Panzer" give it a try!

OPEN RPG takes place in the world of Girls und Panzer, where Sensha-dō is a competitive martial art based around tank warfare. Schools have their own tank teams, commanders, crews, traditions and fighting styles.

🚢 SCHOOL SHIPS

Schools don't operate from normal campuses. Major schools live on enormous aircraft-carrier-like school ships that function as floating cities.

They contain:

• 🏫 Schools & training grounds

• 🏠 Residential districts

• 🛍️ Shops & restaurants

• 🌳 Parks & recreational areas

• ⚓ Ports & ship facilities

• 🚜 Tank garages & Sensha-dō arenas

Students can live their entire school lives aboard these ships while they travel across the oceans.

🌍 MAJOR SCHOOLS

🇫🇮 Jatkosota — Finnish-inspired. Unconventional tactics and the home of Mika.

🇯🇵 Ōarai — Adaptable Japanese school led by Miho Nishizumi. Includes Saori, Hana, Yukari and Mako.

🇩🇪 Kuromorimine — German-inspired, disciplined and heavily armored. Led by Maho Nishizumi.

🇷🇺 Pravda — Soviet-inspired, famous for heavy tanks and defensive tactics. Led by Katyusha, with Nonna.

🇬🇧 St. Gloriana — British-inspired, elegant and tactical. Led by Darjeeling.

🇺🇸 Saunders — American-inspired, wealthy and heavily equipped. Led by Kay, with Alisa and Naomi.

🇮🇹 Anzio — Italian-inspired, fast and unpredictable. Led by Anchovy, with Carpaccio and Pepperoni.

🇯🇵 Chi-Ha-Tan — Traditional Japanese school known for aggressive charges. Led by Kinuyo Nishi.

🇫🇷 BC Freedom — French-inspired school with internal rivalries between Marie, Oshida and Andou.

🎩 MIKA

Mika is Jatkosota's commander and the commander of its famous BT-42.

She's calm, clever, mysterious and unconventional. She plays the kantele, wears her recognizable Finnish hat, and often speaks in strange philosophical remarks.

Her BT-42 crew:

Aki — practical gunner/loader.
Mikko — exceptionally skilled driver.

Mika can be serious and commanding during Sensha-dō, but outside battle she's often relaxed, unpredictable and difficult to figure out.

🌐 ORIGINAL WORLD

OPEN RPG also expands the universe with original nations such as:

Cetus — a wealthy maritime nation with enormous school ships and advanced Sensha-dō programs.
