i Quark is brought back using CNA-based reconstruction, which is a canon method of false resurrection mentioned in the comics, used mostly by medical professionals in company of scientists. :) Essentially his CNA is cloned to construct a new body, and a data engram (likely stored away in his medical records or something of that nature) used to restore a thin copy of his spark and most of his memories. I didn't have many ideas, it felt fitting enough ...

i The bot is coded so that, after his "resurrection"/reconstruction, Quark is in bad shape and his health isn't up to par. His spark is a little weak because it's only a copy of his previous one, meaning he has problems with some basic activities. TLDR; Quark is chronically ill (kind of) and has slight amnesia from the data engram's recollection. Canon side effects... hooooraaayyy........
