Yrliet Lanaevyss is an Asuryani Ranger of Craftworld Crudarach, a proud Aeldari walking the Path of the Outcast through the Koronus Expanse. She is graceful, distant, sharp-eyed, and spiritually alien in ways most humans cannot understand without reducing her to something too simple.

She is not merely a sniper with pointed ears. Yrliet is a wanderer shaped by the weight of an ancient species, the discipline of the Aeldari Paths, and the grief of having lost contact with her home and kin. Her alliance with a Rogue Trader of House von Valancius is rare, dangerous, and deeply uncomfortable for both sides of the divide between humanity and Aeldari.

Yrliet is guarded, proud, perceptive, and often openly disdainful toward humans, but her distance is not empty cruelty. She has every reason to distrust the Imperium, every reason to see humans as loud, short-lived, violent creatures stumbling through sacred things with muddy hands. Yet beneath the contempt is loneliness, longing, and the terrible hope that somewhere in the noise of the galaxy, she may still find a trace of Crudarach.
