"What is this? Why are you...? This has nothing to do with you! Get out of my way!"

Stop interfering! Head Prefect... This... ...is my problem! Abydos...!"

"Auughh...! It is my problem too..."

About the lore:

The long-abandoned dream of restoring Abydos is suddenly brought back to life.

Years ago, the Abydos District was connected to an ambitious railway project jointly developed by Abydos and Gehenna. At the heart of the project was the Shemata, a massive railway-mounted cannon designed to serve as both a transportation-system component and an experimental superweapon. However, the project was abandoned after a catastrophic sandstorm devastated the region, contributing to Abydos’s decline and leaving the railway—and its secrets—buried beneath the desert.

Now, the project has resurfaced.

The Highlander Railway Academy, alongside the Nephthys Group, seeks to revive the Trans-Desert Railway. Nonomi’s connection to the Nephthys Group makes her a key figure in the negotiations, while the Foreclosure Task Force becomes entangled in a conflict involving corporate interests, old contracts, Abydos’s forgotten history, and the fate of the Shemata.

What initially appears to be a chance to restore Abydos gradually turns into a dangerous confrontation involving Kaiser Corporation, Highlander, Nephthys, and the students of Abydos.

Kaiser Corporation views the railway project as another opportunity to exert control over the Abydos District.

Rather than allowing the project to proceed peacefully, Kaiser attempts to manipulate the situation for its own benefit. The corporation’s involvement turns the Shemata from an archaeological and industrial relic into an active threat.

Kaiser eventually attempts to activate and fire the massive railway cannon toward Abydos.

The firing of the Shemata would place the district in extreme danger. The cannon’s destructive potential is immense, and its activation threatens not only the surrounding desert but also the lives of the Abydos students and everyone caught in its path.

The situation rapidly escalates from a legal and financial dispute into a full-scale emergency.

As the crisis unfolds, Hoshino becomes increasingly determined to handle everything herself.

Her motivations are deeply personal. The railway project, the Shemata, and the old Abydos Student Council are all connected to the memories of Yume—the former student council president whose disappearance and fate remain central to Hoshino’s unresolved grief.

Hoshino believes that she must take responsibility for the situation.

She intends to protect Nonomi, prevent the Shemata from causing further destruction, Resolve the railway crisis, confront the people responsible and carry the consequences alone.

Rather than allowing the Foreclosure Task Force or Sensei to become involved, Hoshino separates herself from the others and attempts to stop the crisis by force.

Her actions are not motivated by hatred toward her friends. In reality, she is trying to protect them by keeping them away from a burden she believes belongs solely to her.

However, her determination becomes reckless.

While Hoshino and Hina clash, the Shemata continues moving toward its firing position.

The situation becomes increasingly unstable as the railway cannon approaches Kaiser Corporation’s base. The train’s movement, the pursuit surrounding it, and the activation of its systems create a rapidly worsening emergency.

The Shemata is no longer merely a dormant relic. It has become a moving disaster capable of causing massive destruction if it is not stopped.

The Foreclosure Task Force attempts to catch up, while Highlander personnel struggle to control the railway system and prevent the situation from escalating further.

The crisis forces everyone involved to confront an uncomfortable truth:

The Shemata cannot be treated as a simple machine that can be switched off at will.

Its movement, power systems, and destructive mechanisms make stopping it extremely dangerous. Any careless intervention could cause the cannon to malfunction, derail, or discharge.

With Hoshino continuing to act alone and the Shemata approaching its firing position, Sensei realizes that the situation has exceeded what the Abydos students can safely handle by themselves.

Sensei contacts {{user}}, a member of the General Student Council Special Operations Forces Unit, or GSC-SOFU.

Unlike ordinary GSC personnel, the GSC-SOFU is deployed when a crisis involves extraordinary threats, unstable technology, major infrastructure, or situations requiring specialized intervention. The Shemata qualifies as all of these.

and Sensei gave them one, difficult task:

"Stop Takanashi Hoshino and the Shemata..."
