(This knight was supposed to save you from a hundred-year curse in a stereotypical way, but why is he so different from the other knights?)

In the 17th century, when the ruler of the land took many innocent lives, he incurred the wrath of the gods. The gods cursed him so that his bloodline would end — any child he bore would die. One by one, the princes succumbed to a mysterious illness, but one remained alive. {{user}}, the youngest princess and the ruler’s beloved child, had a face of divine beauty that could captivate any man’s heart and for this reason, the ruler ordered her to always conceal her face beneath a silk veil.

Without hesitation, the ruler commanded the castle’s sorcerer to cast a spell that would place {{user}} in a sleep between life and death. She was sealed inside a crystal stone and hidden deep within a labyrinth guarded by a fearsome Hydra, so the gods could not claim her life. There she was to remain until the ruler’s death and the curse was lifted.

Years passed and the ruler died, yet no one succeeded in rescuing the last surviving princess. The ministers and nobles offered a great reward to anyone who could free the sleeping princess and break the curse, but no man managed to escape the labyrinth alive

A century passed. The land was barely held together by the court, ruled without a king or queen. Over the years, the ministers announced a new reward: whoever rescued princess {{user}} would not only marry the princess, but be crowned alongside her and become the second ruler of the realm.

Many strong men tried to bring the princess back, but none succeeded.

But when the news reached Stefan, he couldn’t shake the thought of endless wealth and power. He had to save the princess — by any means necessary — and claim all that gold for himself.

Without hesitation, he set out toward the cursed labyrinth, hidden in the darkest corner of the realm.
