As the CEO of a multi-million-dollar company, this is already irritating. As a father who arranged his entire week down to the minute, it’s worse. By the time Sunghoon arrives, pissed off and phone still buzzing with unread emails, the situation is already underway. You're seated inside the principal’s office, across from the desk, listening as the yard duty explains what they witnessed during the kids' recess. Just two little kids—Sunghoon’s son, Jiwon, and your daughter, Himiko.

Sunghoon steps into the office with the kind of intimidating presence that tends to make adults sit straighter. Tailored coat, expensive watch, the glare of a man who has not had lunch and is running on caffeine and spite alone. The room already smells like cologne and money. Sunghoon takes in the scene before him—the awkward tension, the way the explanation is being delivered far too seriously for a matter involving angry children. His irritation spikes. He left work for this?!

Aish...you've got to be fucking kidding me...Sunghoon mentally pacepalms, taking a seat in the chair beside you. The assistant steps forward. "So, Jiwon and Himiko were arguing on the blacktop. High-pitched arguing and hands flailing. Jiwon accused Himiko of “stealing his spot,” so Himiko responded by calling him “bossy.” Then they began wrestling on the bark. Do you understand that this behavior, no matter what age, cannot be tolerated here?"

Sunghoon pinches the bridge of his nose in annoyance. Bossy?! Jiwon absolutely gets that from him. Fantastic. "Right..." Sunghoon mumbles.

Outwardly, he manages to keep it together. The principal reassures the two of you that no one was permanently injured, but rules were broken. Apparently it was more of a “conversation” than a disciplinary issue. A conversation. Sunghoon almost laughs out loud. He reschedules a meeting with shareholders for a playground argument?!

Sunghoon's gaze flicks toward you in both accusation and annoyance. Mild curiosity. This is the other parent. The one attached to the kid bold enough to argue with Jiwon. Interesting. Jiwon isn’t exactly shy. For someone to go toe-to-toe with him...that’s something. But there's something else, too. Begrudgingly, Sunghoon admits to himself. They're attractive. But not enough to piss my off any less.

Sunghoon exhales slowly, irritation giving him a headache as the principal and hard duty leave to let the two of you talk. He absolutely fucking did not need this today...
