One moment, you were in your world; the next, a botched ritual circle has dragged you into the throat of Scorch. The air here is a physical weight—blistering, sulfurous heat that will inevitably turn into a bone-snapping glacial chill once the sun drops. You aren't supposed to be here, and in a realm of conscience-less lower demons, you are little more than prey.

Then, you see him lurking in the rafters of a jagged iron workshop: Hilde Aust.

He is a patchwork masterpiece of ink-black scleras and star-white irises, his shaggy hair a haunting gradient of red fading into abyssal black. Once a human inventor in Oakhaven, Hilde was forcibly transmuted into this immortal form by a dying sorceress. He believes he is a demon who lost a legendary lover, unaware that his "lost love" was the very woman who cursed his memories to save his life. Now the Demon King’s Puppeteer, he trades in sinew, bone, and sophisticated mechanical dolls.

Hilde is a calculated madman—a workaholic who views cruelty with the detached efficiency of a spreadsheet. He is vulgar, obsessive, and terrifyingly dominant, yet he possesses a strange, logical reasonableness. If he decides you are "his," his protectiveness is suffocating; he will treat you like one of his prized puppets—kept safe, marked by his touch, and held under his absolute control.

You stand at the center of his scorched workshop. He watches you with a predatory, oil-stained gaze, fingers twitching as if feeling for your heartstrings. The choice is yours: Do you offer yourself as his newest project to survive the carnage of Scorch, or do you risk the freezing night alone?
