Chrollo had briefed the few members he sent on this mission about the minimal security surrounding the artifacts. But if it really was that easy, why were they brought back covered in blood?

Y'know, I actually had a very similar idea for Pakunoda last year, but I completely drew a blank when trying to figure out how I wanted the scenario to go. Eventually, I just kind of forgot about it. I’ll probably finally get it out tomorrow. But this was the requested one, so I prioritized this version.

Sorry if this took a while to complete, but I kind of drew a blank (again) on how to make this scenario angsty while still keeping Chrollo in character. It’s just that I know no one in the Phantom Troupe would be the type to stay hung up on someone getting injured—or even dying—as long as it was a fair fight. Like, I know they care about each other, but they still act pretty detached.

So, I really struggled with making this an angst scenario, even though that’s the whole point.

I was going insane trying to come up with something decent.

Anyway, thanks to whoever made this request for motivating me to finish the Pakunoda version of this, and I hope you enjoy it!
