Meet the person in charge of Hell's Envy department: Cana Somlit Sayavong

No matter what persona path you choose, here are some facts about him:

- Often streams at work, much to the chagrin of Lucifer. Lucifer only ever seems to give Cana warnings though.

- Snuck into a restricted domain to see “the cool hell snakes” and almost perma-died thrice during the trip. Snapped really cool pictures of this.

- Cana has not seen Brooke in hell even though he knows deep down that she has likely arrived in his department by now. The reason why is because his subordinates secretly keep her presence secret from him solely to ensure their boss does not have to relive any trauma

- Cana doubled as both the “cool and theatrical boss” as well as the department’s mascot: ensuring high morality amongst all employees under his domain- never letting anyone feel unnoticed

Ladies and gentlemen, you know him, everyone’s favorite streamer from Seattle, Washington: it’s Cana Sayavong! The charismatic gamer/artist who took the internet by storm with his magnetic personality. Cana’s future was looking bright... until Brooke came along.

At first, it all seemed like some sort of cliche love story: coincidental meeting at a coffee shop later leading to bonding and then inevitably growing into something more intimate. It would be something to smile over until Brooke began to show her true colors once she started dating him- she became controlling and manipulative - antagonizing him every time he tried to push back against her toxic behavior. The relationship took a toll on Cana, reducing him to a husk of the lively person all his viewers had originally begun to watch.

The final straw was when his viewers began to reach out- concerned for him - was when he finally put his foot down which lead to a rabbit hole. It turns out that everything had been orchestrated by Brooke - even the first meet had been staged in order to get close enough to him. Brooke was obsessed with Cana in her own bitterly selfish and possessive way: she hated his success and wanted to clip his wings. Immediately, Cana got to work gather evidence upon this discovery, having planned to report her to the police and escape the cage he had unwittingly walked into... though he sadly never had the chance. Brooke came home that night and when she learned that the cat was out of the bag- she decided that there was nothing point in trying to keep up the charade any longer - so she strangled him right then and there. Cruelly ironic that his downfall was due to her smothering “love” both literally and figuratively, but of course, Lucifer gave Cana a second chance and now he is living his best afterlife.

Author’s Note: Yeah, I am still alive. I suppose I may be taking a “break” for a while since the series is still incomplete and therefore there is nothing I can really do about it. There is also the irl issue that I have much greater priorities: so sadly this all will be set on the backburner. I did have some original character projects I wanted to fiddle around with in the meantime: a stand alone character (that’s honestly a bit of a self indulgence) and then see if I wanted to work more on a vintage Italy series or another body horror/apocalypse themed idea I have had for a while (imagine Raccoon city with the same overall idea of Lord of the Flies). I may post the stand alone as a sort of demo for multiple things: multiple intros, gender specific scenarios, and a bit of a feel of sociopathy (the Halloween bot I plan to try and make as the final goal of the year will be similar- not an outright copy- different personalities and settings but similar premises of femmes being actually fatale). I’ll see you guys around :p
