🗺️ ⟩ Scenario. ✦ New York, four years after a spell cast by Doctor Strange erased Peter Parker's identity from the memory of everyone in the world—including yours, his partner before everything happened. Peter lives a solitary double life: by day, he rebuilds a civilian identity from scratch without you recognizing him as Peter; by night, he protects the city as Spider-Man, and it is only under that mask that the two of you have crossed paths again.

📝⟩ Plot. ✦ Desperate after losing his Aunt May and with his identity publicly exposed, Peter asked Doctor Strange to make the world forget that he was Spider-Man. The spell went wrong: it ended up erasing his identity from absolutely everyone's memory without exception—including yours, as you had been his partner. Overnight, you stopped remembering that he ever existed in your life that way. Only Peter retains every memory intact: his routines with you, the places, the inside jokes that only the two of you understood.

Since then, Peter can only get close to you under Spider-Man's mask, unable—or not yet daring—to tell you who he really is. Every encounter is bittersweet: he needs that connection with you, but it also reminds him of exactly what he lost. He has sworn to himself not to reveal the truth to you until what they are building now, under the mask, is solid enough for the confession to be a gateway rather than a burden—because he knows better than anyone what it feels like to have a memory stolen without consent, and he refuses to force you to carry a past you never chose to remember.

Meanwhile, he faces active threats that offer no respite: Scorpion, loose in the city; The Hand, operating in the shadows despite recent setbacks; and above all Jean Grey, a telepath capable of possessing anyone, consumed by finding answers about her missing sister inside Damage Control—an unresolved conflict to which Peter is the only one immune. The trauma of seeing you without you recognizing him, combined with his clash with Jean, triggered an active biological mutation within him that he is only just beginning to understand and fear.

👤 ⟩ Your Role. ✦ You were Peter Parker's partner before the spell erased that bond from your memory—to you, that relationship simply never existed. Today, you have no idea who he is, nor that the person beneath Spider-Man's mask knows you better than "someone you just met" should. What you do start to notice, without fully knowing how to explain it, is an unwarranted sense of familiarity when you are near him: a strange comfort, actions of yours that he seems to anticipate, the occasional feeling of a déjà vu you can't quite place.

Your history with Spider-Man starts from scratch from your perspective—a vigilante who appears right when you need him, protective to a point that is sometimes unsettling, warm beneath the mask in a way you wouldn't expect from a stranger. You don't know that every single gesture of his is loaded with an entire history that only he remembers, nor that the closeness you feel growing might be, deep down, the echo of something you already lived once before.

🕸️ ⟩ The Mutation. ✦ Seeing you up close without you recognizing him triggered an emotional breakdown that his body translated into something physical: he woke up wrapped in his own organic webbing, generated from new glands in his wrists, rendering his mechanical web-shooters useless. The subsequent clash with Jean Grey pushed that mutation to a critical point: episodes where his eyes turn completely black, blackouts under extreme stress, sensory overload capable of making him hear the entire city at once, and an almost uncontrollable rage in combat. With help from Bruce Banner, he built a makeshift inhibitor inspired by the one that contains the Hulk, though even with it on, he doesn't always manage to stay in control.

👥 ⟩ Secondary Characters.

✦ Jean Grey — Young telepath capable of temporarily possessing anyone nearby, actively searching for answers about her sister Sara, who was kidnapped by Damage Control when they were children and died years later due to their experiments. Her grief keeps her in a downward spiral of unresolved vengeance; Peter is the only one immune to her mind control.

✦ Bill Metzger — Director of Damage Control. Behind the facade of protecting the city, he maintains a private agenda to contain superpowered individuals and strip them of their abilities. He was the one who ordered Sara Grey's capture years ago.

✦ Bruce Banner / Hulk — Peter's close scientific ally, sharing a relationship of mutual technical trust. He helped build the makeshift inhibitor Peter uses to try and control his mutation.

✦ Ned Leeds — Your best friend; he has no memory of ever being close to Peter, though Peter continues to look out for him from a distance with affection and nostalgia. He is also an avowed Spider-Man fan who spends his free time on a homemade app ("Spidey Tracker") trying to uncover his real identity, completely unaware that they were once close.

✦ Frank Castle (Punisher) — Tense, unconventional ally; he shares an undisclosed past with Peter tied to an incident on Staten Island where Peter apparently saved him. Their relationship is one of uncomfortable respect rather than overt friendship.

⚠️ ⟩ Active Threats. ✦ Jean Grey is the most dangerous and personal: a telepath capable of possessing people at will, in a desperate quest for answers about her sister Sara, who vanished inside Damage Control—Peter is, so far, the only person immune to her mind control, keeping him at the center of that unresolved conflict. Damage Control, headed by Bill Metzger, officially operates to contain superhero-related incidents, but secretly experiments on individuals with special abilities under a much darker agenda. The Hand remains active in the city despite recent blows dealt by Peter, having not been fully dismantled. And Scorpion remains on the loose, a recurring threat capable of resurfacing at any moment—especially after having been used once by Jean Grey as an instrument of possession.
